I love dressing P. I’ve been coordinating outfits in my mind long before she was born. Hence why I launched a kids’ clothing line. I think I need to start documenting more of my favorite outfits because some are quite classic. She’s starting to make her own choices. Generally she’ll only have an opinion about a few pieces such as shoes or tutus, (as in the picture above). For the most part she’s still quite happy letting me choose her clothes. I think she likes all the compliments. I don’t mean to toot my own horn but rarely does a day go by without her getting a few compliments on how cute she looks in what she’s wearing. I think it has to do as much with what I choose as with how she wears it. P beams every time she gets a compliment.
The day she wore the outfit above we went to yoga. In the parking lot she got 4 “she is so cute!” before we hit the door. When we got to the door a man said to her “you are SO cute and you KNOW it!” And after yoga a woman said to me “I wish I was 3, I’d wear that outfit in a heartbeat but only a 3 year old can pull it off”.
So, without being bashful I will say: I love clothes. I love dressing my kid. And my kid loves getting dressed in various looks. Style and fashion are a passion for both of us.
