My stomach is growing. It feels sore in the muscles as if I did 1,000 sit ups yesterday. I feel good. Well, I feel tired. Exhausted actually but I know that is a good sign so I’m very happy to feel this way.
I feel more confident each day. One way I keep myself moving forward and only thinking of the positive is by doing online window shopping. I search for maternity clothes and for the few items I’ll have to get for this baby. Even if we have a boy I have plenty of gender neutral things for the first few weeks. It’s a few of the larger things that we need: a bassinet, a baby swing and a jogger for two.
A good friend of mine just gave me all her maternity clothes. Man! My wardrobe just tripled in size. I have so many pants for all three stages! It’s fantastic! I did a big swapping of my clothes. I put all my “smaller”….that’s a relative term, sizes in storage and pulled out all the maternity. Funny to now know the smaller stuff won’t fit me for a good year and a half.
This is a huge mental step. It’s kind of like I’m saying “ok, we’re on our way” with my clothes. I think this time it’ll be ok. I think this time it’ll be ok. I think this time it’ll be ok…..more than ok!
