A journal of our food stops on our way to and from Seattle. I think these pictures best capture our state of mind at the time which is why I wanted to have them all together.
Day one, 6 hours on the road. Mike’s Roadhouse Cafe in Kettleman City. It’s obvious whose exhausted.
Day three in Auburn. Breakfast. IHOP. Not my first choice but it was Grandpa’s and P got a kick out of a pancake with a face on it. I’m skeeved out by the awful yogurt with so many preservatives and coloring.
Seattle. Day four. Lunch at Cafe Presse. This was our fourth option from Orangette. We’re glad all the other restaurants were closed on Memorial Day because this place was fantastic.
The return. Day seven. Dinner at Harris Ranch. Great food but what we saw and the reviews it seems they don’t treat everyone equally. Sad, because the food was fantastic. These two are fighting over a yam.
