I NEVER thought I’d shop on Craig’slist for myself, let alone for my children. But times can get tough and at this age she may never remember these toys. Right now toys are important to me because I select things that help in development. In the future I’ll have to spit the toy budget between what I think she needs and what she wants, so why not save now.
It started when I wanted a wooden, cheap kid’s table to temporarily replace the Jill table from Room & Board. P is too young for it and I wanted something I could cut to size. I figured a table is something I could sanitize to death and P would be ok. It was such a great and useful buy that I’ve shopped Craig’slist again…and again. And honestly, I feel really good about these toys and the families they came from. To date I have saved $310, which makes me and my husband really happy.
